Rafa Nadal’s Luxury Housing Projects on the Costa del Sol Move Forward

Tennis star Rafa Nadal is expanding his business ventures in the Costa del Sol with plans for two luxury housing developments in Estepona and Marbella. Working alongside business owner Abel Matutes and Marbella developer Sierra Blanca, Nadal’s company is set to break ground on these projects this year.

The Estepona project will feature 42 flats and six villas on a 36-hectare plot in the Los Llanos area. Although the development permit is still pending, the project has received final approval from the town hall, and the construction is expected to begin soon.

The second project will be in Marbella’s Nagüeles area and will consist of 45 homes, divided into two phases. The first phase will include 33 flats, and the second phase will have 12. The design has already been submitted to the town hall, and approval is awaited.

These two projects are part of an overall 200 million euro investment by Nadal and Matutes’ real estate company. Both projects will feature luxury homes with amenities and services similar to a five-star hotel, aimed at high-end buyers.

Sierra Blanca, a leading developer in Marbella, is already known for its luxury homes on the Golden Mile, including the Epic development and villas designed with Karl Lagerfeld. Another project in collaboration with Dolce & Gabbana is set to begin construction soon, with prices ranging from four to 20 million euros.

This new phase of development is a testament to Nadal’s growing business influence on the Costa del Sol, combining his tennis legacy with high-end real estate ventures.
