Ikea is set to open a new design space and collection point at the La Cañada shopping centre in Marbella in November.
Although best-known for its huge retail stores, the Swedish company is betting on a new approach to allow it to connect with its customers.
As a result, Ikea Diseña Marbella, will open in the La Cañada shopping centre. It is described as a space for creation, planning and advice with an area of 113 square metres that will be staffed by nine employees.
There will also be a merchandise collection point, which will have a 304-square-metre warehouse and in which six people will be employed.
Linus Frejd, store manager at Ikea in Malaga and who will also direct this new operation, said that “We are very excited to be able to share, through this new space in Marbella, our passion for design, decoration and life in our homes.”
“We are continually rethinking the way we adapt to the needs of our customers. Through this new contact point of contact, we will be closer to the people of Marbella and be more accessible», adds Frejd.
